About Leonard Golf Links

Leonard Golf Links is a 52-acre natural grass driving range in Fort Worth founded by Marty Leonard, who continued her father Marvin Leonard's legacy of designing unique golf experiences dating back to 1936. The facility offers club fittings, golf instruction, and practice on natural turf, and is ranked in the Top 100 Golf Ranges in the US for 8 years.

What makes them unique

Leonard Golf Links is one of the only public facilities where golfers can practice and get fitted for clubs on the same natural grass turf they will play on the course. Unlike other club fitters, they analyze strokes on natural grass to see how shots perform in actual playing conditions, providing feedback that directly translates to course performance.

Fitting philosophy

Their fitting approach prioritizes ball flight as the most important aspect of club fitting. Driver fittings utilize launch monitor analysis to determine launch angle, ball speed, clubhead speed, and spin rate in outdoor normal playing conditions, while iron fittings are done on real turf to assess ball flight, lie angles, shaft length and flex, and head style.

Who they serve

Leonard Golf Links serves golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to avid players fine-tuning their game. They also offer Summer Junior Camps for ages 5-14 and provide group and private golf instruction.

Location and accessibility

The facility is located in west Fort Worth on 52 acres, described as being surrounded by regal oaks and native plants reflecting the essence of quaint Texas, accessed by an old cattle guard entrance.
