About The Golf Improvement Center
The Golf Improvement Center is Middle Georgia's only custom club fitting shop for major brands, offering personalized club fittings, club repairs, and golf equipment. The staff has completed hundreds of hours of hands-on training from Golf Digest Top 10 fitter Dana Upshaw.
What makes them unique
The Golf Improvement Center is the only place in Middle Georgia that performs custom club fittings on major brands. Brandon Black, the lead fitter, is a TaylorMade National Fitter, Certified Callaway Master Fitter, and one of Mizuno's Top 100 Fitters, trained by Dana Upshaw, an AGCP Certified Master Club Fitter.
Fitting philosophy
The business uses three-dimensional Doppler radar launch monitor technology, digital capture video, and major brand fitting systems to analyze swing speed, shaft flex, shaft weight, shaft bend profile, and clubhead design specifications. The center has recorded over 110 hole-in-ones by clients fitted through this comprehensive testing approach.
