About Cupp Golf Academy
Cupp Golf Academy opened in 2018 at two premier locations in North Atlanta: The Golf Club of Georgia and Horseshoe Bend Country Club. The academy offers club fitting, swing instruction, and short game training using advanced technology like Trackman 4, RoboGolfPro, and SAM PuttLab.
What makes them unique
RoboGolfPro, one of fewer than 25 machines in training centers across the U.S., allows golfers to physically feel their ideal swing during instruction. Swing Catalyst synchronizes balance plate data, 3D motion analysis, and high-speed video with Trackman readings to measure foot pressure patterns and force measurements during the swing.
Fitting philosophy
The academy uses Trackman Dual Radar Technology to track club mechanics before, during, and after impact, while simultaneously tracking full ball flight data including launch angle, spin rate, and curvature. Instruction is paired with pressure mat analysis, motion capture, and putting stroke feedback via SAM PuttLab to design custom improvement programs.
Who they serve
The academy serves juniors and women through dedicated Op36 programs, beginners seeking an introduction to golf, golfers addressing specific weaknesses, and those preparing for competitive play. They also host private events and corporate outings on The Cupp Par 3 Course.
