About Florida Custom Golf
Florida Custom Golf is a certified performance fitting center in Palm City owned and operated by Phil Prisby, a certified Mizuno Club Fitter trained by Brad Fellinger to continue a legacy of over 30 years of service to the Treasure Coast. The shop offers custom club fitting, re-shafting, re-weighting, loft and lie adjustments, re-gripping, frequency matching, and club repair.
What makes them unique
Every club built at Florida Custom Golf is assembled specifically for each client's individual swing using a Foresight indoor simulator combined with shaft optimizer technology and launch monitor analysis. The shop uses a Mitchell frequency machine to test equipment and match shafts at precise 1/2″ increments with 3-4 CPM differences across a set.
Fitting philosophy
Phil Prisby's approach is rooted in his own experience: after years of buying clubs off-the-rack at big box stores, he discovered that proper fitting and correct club building transformed his entire game, leading him to adopt the philosophy of "Swing Outside the Box." The fitting process combines shaft optimizer technology with launch monitor data to establish a baseline, then assembles multiple club combinations to find what feels best before making any recommendations or sales.
