KZG Performance Center opened in Palm Desert in 2015 as the first facility operated by KZG, a custom golf equipment company founded in 1994. The center specializes in custom fit and custom built golf clubs, with Brad Whalen serving as a British PGA–certified Master Clubfitter and Master Club Builder rated in the World's Top 100 Clubfitters.

KZG's approach emphasizes selecting club heads and shafts to improve shot height, direction, distance, and gaps between clubs.
